Our Mission

We develop problem-solving capabilities that power transformation across people and organizations

Why "Problem-Solving" Matters Now

For years, academic credentials served as an indicator of effort and foundational ability.
There was a certain rationality to credential-focused hiring.

But now, the value of knowledge and routine work is rapidly declining with the spread of AI.
What's needed instead is the ability to identify and assess issues, grasp the essence, develop solutions, and execute.

I myself honed this capability in an environment where problem-solving was rigorously demanded, and was involved in developing many professionals.
I'm convinced that this capability can definitely be developed—and will become increasingly important.

Yet this training know-how remains confined to a few.
Many people enter the workforce with high potential but without ever learning how to sharpen these capabilities.

If we could properly develop and evaluate this capability, wouldn't more people be able to take on challenges—and wouldn't both individuals and companies grow even more?

This conviction led us to found Solvere. A person's true worth is determined not by past credentials or experience, but by future potential. We believe this deeply.

Our Definition

What we mean by "Problem Solving"

Problem solving is the fundamental capability that defines professional success. It underpins how individuals create value, influence decisions, and drive outcomes—regardless of industry or function. We define it as four observable, developable dimensions that distinguish those who deliver impact from those who do not.

Cognition

The foundation of professional value creation. The ability to cut through complexity, identify the real issue, and structure a path to the answer.

Influence

Thinking alone creates no value—impact requires moving others. The ability to communicate, build trust, and lead collaboration turns insight into action.

Delivery

Strategy means nothing without execution. The ability to make tough calls under uncertainty and drive initiatives to completion separates those who deliver.

Coachability

In a world of constant change, only those who can learn, adapt, and evolve will continue to grow. The multiplier that compounds all other capabilities.

We are building systems to develop, measure, and connect the four pillars—Cognition, Influence, Delivery, and Coachability.

The Impact We Seek

Unlocking the Potential of Individuals, Companies, and Society

Despite being critically important for professional success, "problem-solving ability" has been overlooked. We aim to transform hiring and selection processes, starting with strengthening and evaluating this capability—breaking the negative spiral in learning.

For Individuals

Toward a society where potential isn't bound by academic credentials

Current Challenges

Academic credentials have long been deeply entrenched as a primary criterion in hiring decisions. The priority placed on obtaining impressive credentials has led to intense competition, while what truly matters for professional success is often neglected. Opportunities to develop problem-solving skills are limited, and many people enter the workforce with high potential but without ever learning how to hone these capabilities.

The Future We're Building

We're creating an environment where anyone can properly learn "the power to solve problems"—skills that were previously accessible only to select companies and individuals. We envision a society where your future isn't limited by past credentials, but shaped by the capabilities you've developed. What you learn for employment becomes what you need to thrive professionally—connecting learning and career in the way it should be.

Toward hiring that identifies true potential

Current Challenges

Many companies still rely primarily on academic credentials and work history as their main hiring criteria. However, as AI spreads and the environment changes rapidly, the value of knowledge and routine work has declined—while the importance of people who can "identify issues, grasp the essence, develop solutions, and execute" is rising sharply. The know-how to evaluate problem-solving ability remains concentrated in a few companies, leaving most organizations unable to identify candidates' true potential.

The Future We're Building

We're enabling companies to adopt new hiring criteria that evaluate "whether someone can create future value"—not just past performance. Through problem-solving ability as a common metric, organizations can discover high-potential talent invisible through credentials alone, and achieve sustainable organizational growth.

Toward improving Japan's overall productivity

Current Challenges

The know-how for systematically developing problem-solving skills remains concentrated in specialized institutions and select companies, leaving many individuals and organizations without access to these opportunities. People with high potential are not properly evaluated, and their abilities remain underutilized. This situation hinders optimal talent allocation and limits Japan's overall productivity growth.

The Future We're Building

By creating an environment where anyone can learn problem-solving skills and be fairly evaluated, we accelerate optimal talent allocation across society. We enable individuals to maximize their potential and organizations to drive transformation autonomously. As the latent capabilities of people and companies are unleashed, we contribute to elevating Japan's overall productivity.
